Coach terms
Version 2026-09-15-coach
These terms apply when you use PACIT as a coach. By creating a coach account you agree to them.
1. Who we are
PACIT is being incorporated. Until it is, PACIT is operated by Oliver Cormack, one of its founders, who is responsible for it and for the personal data described here. In these pages, "PACIT", "we" and "us" mean Oliver Cormack operating PACIT. When the company is formed, these pages will name it, and we will tell account holders.
2. What PACIT does for a coach
A club that is considering you for a role can invite you to answer the same philosophy questions it has answered about itself. You answer about how you want your teams to play. PACIT then compares your answers with that club's.
- You never see the club's answers.
- PACIT does not act for you or for any club. It does not represent you, negotiate for you, or find you a role.
- Using PACIT is free. We will not charge you for anything unless you have agreed it with us in writing first.
3. What we collect
Your name and email address (first from the club that invited you, then from you), your account details, and your answers. The privacy notice explains everything we hold and why.
4. Who sees what
- A club that invited you sees your answers, a match number, and the biggest differences between your answers and theirs.
- That club keeps a copy of the answers you submitted to it, even if you later change your answers, so its comparison does not shift. It can also keep private notes about you and rank you among the coaches it is considering.
- No other club sees anything about you unless you agree to it.
5. What the number means
The match number compares your declared answers with a club's. It is not an assessment of your ability, character or record, and it does not use your results. A club makes its own decisions. You can ask us for a person to review how a number about you was produced, and tell us your view.
6. Your part
- Answer as yourself, about how you want your teams to play. Do not create an account for someone else.
- Keep what you learn about a club through PACIT confidential, including that it is considering coaches.
- Do not copy, scrape or reverse engineer PACIT, or access it with automated tools.
7. Keeping and deleting your data
We keep your account and answers while your account exists. Ask us to delete it at any time: we delete your account and answers, including the copies held on clubs' boards, within 30 days.
8. No guarantees and liability
- We provide PACIT as it is, and do not promise any interview, role or result from using it.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
- Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of earnings, opportunity or any indirect loss, or for any club's decision.
9. Ending, changes and law
- You can stop using PACIT at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, telling you why where it is fair to.
- If we change these terms significantly, we tell you before the change applies to you.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute about them.
10. Your rights and contact
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion at any time.
Email contact@dextant.com. We reply within one month, and usually much sooner.
